Each Homeowner will submit a request for any improvement, in writing, to the Architecture Control Committee (ACC). Improvements will be categorized as standard improvements, major improvements, or new builds. No improvements is to commence until written approval is obtained by the ACC. Deviating from the written approval plans is not permitted and will be subject to stated fines or withdraw of plan approval as stated in the improvement guidelines packet.
The ACC is a committee formed by the HOA Board of Directors consisting of Village at High Meadow residents. The ACC has a Chairperson and a minimum of four (4) additional members, who serve terms of no more than three (3) years. The ACC is responsible for the review and approval/disapproval of the plans and specifications for (a) new home construction and (b) improvement projects for existing homes.
The ACC reviews each New Home/Improvement Request for compliance with the Village at High Meadow’s Declaration of Covenants Conditions and Restrictions (DCCRs), HOA/ACC established Minimum Construction Standards, harmony with respect to neighboring homes and maintaining the aesthetics of the Village.
Serving on the ACC is not a major time commitment as the ACC only meets when a New Home Request or Improvement Request has been received. No special experience, like a construction background, is required to join the ACC. In addition, an ACC member periodically visits ongoing projects to verify compliance with the approved plans and the Village’s DCCRs.
If you have any questions regarding the ACC or wish to join the ACC, please contact either HOA President (president@villageathighmeadow.com) and/or ACC Chairperson Mike Roberts (281-217-0269).
